This was exactly what I was looking for, track by track, with all the back story. Love this
This is a brilliant podcast that delves into Madonna’s long and legendary career in a most intelligent, hilarious, and poignant manner.
What I like about this podcast, is that Mark and Kenny not only talk about Madonna songs, but they also tell us about personal experiences.
Early seasons are focussed and informed. They are in-depth analysis of Madonna’s work (or canon as they refer). However, the latest few seasons are tangent ladened, with fictitious narrative, guest self-promotion and a largely political and contextual americentric lens.
New listener: S2, E7……..I have always loved my Girl, Madonna, but this podcast is letting explore new levels of my obsession. And love the warm easy feel of it all. It’s three friends (and me of course) chatting about Madonna. Thank you Mark and Kenny.
