  • Some love and a suggestion!

Hi guys!! I love love love the podcast and have been working my way thru all the eps! Recently heard one where one of you asked the question, “what is the etiquette now about being sick in public?” I have an answer! If you are sick and have to be in public, plz test for covid and wear a KN95 or N95 mask as much as possible! A light cold for you might be devastating for an immunocompromised person. Masks with a good seal on your face do a great job at keeping germs away from others. Yall have a ... more

  • Sam and George are perfect

Can the guests please let the boys cook. It’s shocked the amount of people who go on this perfect and hilarious show who have no sense of humor. Please make it stop. Funny guests only.

  • WARNING:

This show isn’t actually funny. It is hard to laugh when this is playing within earshot. I know many in comedy and this is garbage material.

  • Gay (or just female) version of bonk story line

I think The Vow is a very gay version of bonked head story line — when you willingly let someone else you are obsessed with define who you are and find power or meaning in sheer subordination. This episode is awesome

StraightioLab Book Club 2: Sex On Murder Island w/ Jo Firestone
Q: Why is the book often framed as nonfiction or autofiction, and how does that affect your storytelling choices?

Q: So, Joe, writing the sequel to Murder on Sex Island, what made you return once again to Sex and Murder?
Jo explains how the follow-up differs from the first book, noting the shift in themes and the challenge of maintaining wordplay while exploring new angles like income inequality and island intrigue, while keeping the core motif of sex and misadventure intact.
"The Concept of 'My Oasis'" w/ Alison Leiby
Q: Do you see the oasis as a space that will reflect personal identity or change with life stages (e.g., family, kids)?
Yes, it's a space that both reflects individual identity and resists intrusion from others, especially family, while adapting to evolving life circumstances like kids and shared living spaces.
"The Concept of 'My Oasis'" w/ Alison Leiby
Q: What would you put in your oasis?
A cozy blanket, a novelty lamp, a vintage poster, a comfy beanbag, a floor lamp with warm lighting, and an atmosphere that feels like a luxurious yet playful throwback to 2003 in a wealthy friend's basement.
