  • Yikes

Listened to episode 020, which should be titled 'Mansplaining DS9 to Amy'. Could have been a great discussion between a first-time watcher and obsessive fans of DS9, but it was a lot of talking over and shutting down. At one point, the phrase “You’ll learn” is uttered to her. Amy, I agree with you, good for one watch-through, but mostly unmemorable. TNG!

  • Variety, insightful and FUN!!

I’ve been a Star Trek fan for a very long time and I thought I knew all the angles. Listening to these two has open my eyes a little bit. They delve into the deepest, darkest corners of the Star Trek universe, never concentrating on one specific series for very long. I look forward to listening to these as they help me relax at night with the sound of Amy’s soothing voice! Take a listen!!

  • Insightful discussion

Always a good time to be had on this Star Trek podcast. What helps it stand out from the rest is how they are able find the deepest moral and ethical questions to discuss about even the most unpopular episodes of Star Trek. I frequently find myself re-examining episodes that I’ve seen in some cases since I was a little kid. 🖖

It's a contentious topic; while many believe she killed Tuvix directly, the justification of her actions hinges on situational ethics and the necessity to save her other crew members.
