Tried to give this podcast a "fair shake" since he joined. The direction of the podcast has changed dramatically since I first started listening in 2017. The focus of novels over the final season of Discovery was disappointing. Barry started off with well but has been overrunning Dan with his opinions (this has reoccurred to the point of where it is basically a solo show now)
Followed them over from Literary Treks and boy oh boy, I just love ‘em.
A very thorough look at Star Trek while also being positive. Not afraid to be critical, though - the things we love can also disappoint us. But any criticism is never done in bad faith.
That’s the fun of loving something - you love it wholly, flaws and all. Which is why this pod rules.
Just a really wholesome and and respectful and lovely bunch of folks talking about Star Trek! This show feels like sitting down to a warm cup of coffee in the morning.
I have listened to both of you on the Trek FM network before I was really happy to see you had made your own podcast and I love that is podcast promote positivity in Star Trek in the Star Trek community. I wish I could give you more then five stars for the rating keep up the great work. LLAP
