This is such a delightful listen. Rigorously curated, irreverently discussed, this is a must for anybody with even a passing interest in British comedy. Plus bonus episodes with comedy legends who were there. A high point of the podcast fortnight!
Tom Salinsky is so knowledgeable and Abigoliah Schamaun is so interested and thoughtful in her reactions - they make this fascinating subject really entertaining. Love it !
I love coming along on this journey. Im an American (I’m sorry. I know we suck right now) and Ive always appreciated British comedy, but never had a good entry point. My ADHD butt has delighted in this series, and cant wait to dig into more.

I love the format and the editing of this show, going in cold with the history, then clips of the subject matter, and then a more considered reaction rather than just immediate takes. Tom sprinkles in informative facts throughout allowing his passion for the subject to shine, and Abigoliah’s input is equally fascinating, seeing the experience of practicing comedy today and building up this picture of interconnected things.
