Season 1 (Tiger Woods) was interesting and professionally presented. Season 2 (Venus and Serena Williams) was neither. It lacked a coherent storyline, the host is very preachy, and it was overall disappointing. I will not be sticking around for season 3.
What a great show! I love it!
So interesting to learn about Venus and Serena from Cecil Harris, a journalist/writer who followed the sisters for their entire pro careers— from their earliest days, when tennis fans were slow to embrace two Black sisters. I enjoyed learning about their mom Oracene Price for the first time also. Season 1 was very interesting, easy to listen to and enjoyable. Season 2 on the other hand sounds like an actual robot is reading the script. I honestly couldn’t figure out for the first half of episode 1 if they were having an AI read the script as a bit, but no. The guy is just not great at voice acting/story telling
Can't wait 'til Season 2 Drops!
