As a fellow survivor, I appreciate this podcast with all my heart. It’s been helping me daily. It’s so calming. Thank you!
This has been incredibly hard to listen to. It’s also been incredibly important for me personally to take that next step. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Alissa's story was so similar to mine, it's helped me a lot to know I'm not alone and know there's hope for the future :).
I listened to the whole show in a day. Loved your approach. Loved hearing you piece your own life together listening to other people’s stories. You found very inspirational people to talk to. Needs to be more people like you in the world! We need to start talking about it! Much love! Hope you get to do another season soon!
The very existence of this Podcast has helped me a huge amount as a survivor of childhood abuse. Very sensitively handled and I think the split between the experience and the after works very well. Just listened to Kevin Marshall’s interview and he was so moving and inspirational. Even though we come from different backgrounds his experience echoes so much with me. Beautiful.
I need more of this. It’s a daily reminder that one day at a time can help you heal and be a better person. Although it breaks my heart that we dealt with this, hearing other people’s survivor stories helps me get through the trauma and the pain.
Podcast is incredibly sensitive and well handled, the people speaking up and all those who can’t are beautiful strong wonderful people who speak with such grace. A must listen, presenter is lovely.
This podcast is brilliant. It makes me feel seen and safe and I need more episodes as soon as humanly possible.
