  • The Best Disney Podcast

I listen to a lot of Disney podcasts and this one is my favorite. Alicea and Nathan do an amazing job picking interesting topics to discuss, ranging from the Disney parks to Disney Cruise Line and beyond. They have such a great rapport with each other and any guests they have on. Plus, they have the best intro ever! Can’t wait to keep listening.

  • You convinced me to buy DVC

I love this podcast! My husband and I had been talking a lot about joining DVC. One day I was cleaning and wanted to listen to a podcast about DVC and the “what is DVC” episode popped right into my feed. I found myself taking notes instead of cleaning! I truly enjoying the digestible information and honest experience. Two weeks later we signed our contract! I am excited to keep listening when I need a happy Disney pick-me-up podcast.

229. Is the Strongest Disney Magic In Anaheim?
Q: Which rides stood out as notably better in Disneyland than Disney World?
Pirates of the Caribbean felt longer and more immersive, while Indiana Jones offered visual surprise with cars you can see, which contrasts with how some Disney World rides are designed.
229. Is the Strongest Disney Magic In Anaheim?
Q: What was your most memorable moment inside Club 33?
The sense of discovery and exclusivity, plus Alice-themed details and the surprise element that turned a routine dinner into an emotional, dream-like experience.
229. Is the Strongest Disney Magic In Anaheim?
Q: What made Disneyland feel different from Disney World right away?
The smaller, more intimate layout and the emotional immediacy of the environment. It's easier to feel connected to the park's history and to see Walt's influence everywhere, which makes the nostalgia feel tangible.
221. Disney Adventure First Impressions - DCL Breaks the Mold
Q: Where do you feel the most internal push and pull as a long-time Disney observer?
The balance between making the ship feel distinctly Disney while accommodating departures in layout and space, such as the Imagination Garden and the non-traditional first-impressions of staterooms and entertainment spaces, shows both clever adherence to Disney DNA and necessary adaptation for the Singapore-based ship.
221. Disney Adventure First Impressions - DCL Breaks the Mold
Q: Walk us through that first impression. What did your Disney Cruise brain have to recalibrate?
Scott explains that entering on deck seven into an elevator lobby sets a different tone from the traditional grand atrium, prompting recalibration about layout, space usage, and how the ship feels when compared to the Wish-class ships.
