I just learned about this pod and really enjoyed the episode with Kali Reis. Peanut butter on a spoon for the win! I appreciate learning more about how to support the MMIWG movement as a New Mexico native (and a human who cares about people). Can’t wait to listen to more episodes!
I've listened to the first two episodes and I'm learning so much about Native and Indigenous communities: their history; struggles; injustices and resilience. As someone very far removed from the industry this podcast has been really educational and entertaining. The host is compelling and relational and guests offer unique perspectives that I haven’t heard elsewhere. The show highlights a wonderfully diverse set of actors and their varying work. A great pick if you want to learn about Hollywood, the experiences of Indigenous actors and get some fabulous recommendations on what to watch next.
This is a great podcast to listen to, lighthearted and funny. Indigenous people need a podcast like this so we can hear the struggles of our people and how they broke through. The title is great too!
Heartfelt, funny, positive, and easy listening. Talented humans share some of their wisdom, insights, critiques into the industry; not to mention, their own stories. I’d recommend for anyone who is looking for a “how too”, enjoys personal narrative, and listening to passionate people share what they are passionate about.
