Q: How has your experience with trauma informed the way you lead with kindness on and off screen?
Trauma taught me to see myself in others and to choose empathy over defensiveness, which helps me connect, mentor, and lift people up rather than push them away.
Ep. 146 Achieving Lasting Serenity Over Violence One Mindful Minute At A Time with Judge Frank Szymanski
Q: What practical steps can listeners take today?
Start with a 60-second daily practice (the 760 Mad Minute Plan), use guided meditation or mantra meditation, and gradually integrate these into different days focusing on challenges, ownership, and joy.
Ep. 146 Achieving Lasting Serenity Over Violence One Mindful Minute At A Time with Judge Frank Szymanski
Q: How did you start applying mindfulness in the juvenile court context?
I started by integrating yoga and then meditation through volunteers, then studied the Enlightened Sentencing Project to bring structured mindfulness to the courtroom and youth.
Ep. 146 Achieving Lasting Serenity Over Violence One Mindful Minute At A Time with Judge Frank Szymanski
Q: What does success look like to you?
Success is living true to one's self-definition, which is anchored in identity design and actions aligned with that purpose, not merely chasing money or status.
Ep. 143 The Celebrity Stylist Secret That Changes Everything with Jeni Elizabeth Paolella
Q: How can fashion and wardrobe reflect and shape a person's confidence in high-pressure environments like red carpet or TV work?
Wardrobe should make the wearer feel comfortable and powerful; clothing is a tool for self-expression and confidence, and the stylist should push clients toward pieces that enhance their comfort and presence, even if that means gradual changes and color experimentation.
