  • So much value!

I have listened to almost every podcast on here. Find this to be so highly value packed. Love the bite size amount of chunked information, with very very direct feedback and guidance. Allison is NOT afraid to tell us what she really thinks, and that is what we therapist-business owners need! I highly recommend.

  • Had to stop listening

I listened to a few of these episodes but had to unfollow due to the near-constant plugging of various products. Like every five minutes you’re hearing some kind of ad read by the host or another plug for therapy notes.

  • Ugh

I keep hoping this podcast will offer something, and I’m always disappointed. She offers such minimal info here that it’s almost laughable- - okay, she’s just doing this to recruit people for her consulting biz. But wait, then she also has advertising???!?? So, this podcast is all about making money for her. Don’t be fooled, this podcast offers NOTHING for its listeners.

  • Stop

This podcast has some (rare) helpful ideas, BUT with this many ads, it’s definitely a net negative. Bye…

Episode #760: Afraid to Narrow Your Niche? Here's What Actually Happens
Q: How specific does a niche actually need to be before you start putting yourself out there, and is it possible to go too soon?
Rebecca explains that niching down isn't about excluding people; it's about aligning your work with what lights you up and what you're best at, which makes your messaging clearer and more attractive to the right clients. It's normal to start with a broad fear, but narrowing early is advantageous and often reversible if you change direction later.
Episode #756: Why You Feel Guilty Charging Private Pay (Even When You Know Your Worth)
Q: How do I manage uncomfortable feelings when offering a private-pay rate?
Acknowledge that the concern is common, separate your self-worth from client finances, recognize that affordability varies and that you don't need to match the budgets of people around you; focus on presenting the offer and allowing clients to decide.
Episode #755: What Website Features Actually Get Therapists Clients (& Which Are a Waste)
Q: Where should therapists start when deciding which features to invest in for their website?
Focus first on elements that help visitors choose you, especially copy that speaks to the client's pain and desires, authentic photos that convey warmth and competence, and an engaging video to communicate vibe; avoid flashy, slow-loading features that don't directly contribute to conversion.
Episode #749: Starting a Group Practice
Q: When should I start advertising and building the flow for hiring?
Immediately. You should identify where current clients and prospects come from, double down on those channels, and craft a consistent message about who you will hire to mirror your approach.
Episode #749: Starting a Group Practice
Q: What would be your first recommendation of what I should do to get this started?
Start by getting really clear about how you will show up as a leader, set boundaries, and define expectations from the first conversation. Then map out a real marketing plan and your referral flow so you'll have clients ready when you hire.
