I was annoying this ad until an episode began with ad ad for Faith Promise church, odd to head a podcast about cults advertising another cult.
While I listened to this I was quite shocked about how crazy it all sounded. I liked that it was not overly sensationalist at the same time. Just hearing that Paul guy speak made me really wonder what was so charismatic about him.
A brillant listen, the episodes are nice and short. Would love to hear more about this story.
Loved the documentary style and the level of research that went into revealing the dark workings of this company. How embarrassing for them!
I’m not a fan of the BBC these days, but this is the exception. Very well done, and seemingly fair and truthful.
