  • Just… thank you Mandi 🥹

Mandi puts into words what so many of us are thinking but not saying. She makes medical momming feel so much less isolating, and has wisdom that is such a gift to those of us a few steps behind her and their journey. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who receives a fresh diagnosis or just needs to feel less alone. She also has tons of resources on her website. My son has down syndrome and I just love how relatable all of this is.

Lindsey Waibl | When “No Roadmap” Became an Unexpected Gift
Q: Can you walk us through the moment you delivered Dylan and how your decisions around testing and interventions unfolded?
The delivery was a turning point where the medical team acted decisively and decisions about testing and potential interventions followed the couple's sense of what they could handle and what they valued for their child's dignity and comfort; the couple chose to forego further testing and leaned into what would best support life and comfort in the moment, often relying on faith and a sense of team support.
