The cast of characters is excellent, as is the cast of voice actors. The whole thing is brilliantly done, and emotionally compelling. Any crime against a child is awful; this story plumbs the depths of just how awful that can be. It’s truly bleak.There’s also extreme animal cruelty. More than one cat dies horribly, and we hear it happening. Between cruelty against children, cruelty against animals, and the disturbing ending - this one takes a strong stomach.
