I’ve listened to a lot of actual plays and these guys are probably top 5. I love the dynamic. The RP is really good and fun but not overbearing and stifling. The cast is also just really funny but not in the usual “forget the game and just joke all the time,” it just seems to work organically. Really impressed.
Edit: I’ve binged the **** out of this to episode 207 and it’s really next level. A lot of actual plays get kind of stale or annoying because I can’t allow myself to like anything for ver... more
I am a latecomer to this show and the game. Only up to episode 43. I love the role playing, humour and of course uncle chett. It has really helped me get to know the system and keeps me laughing. Great show

What needs to be said folks? If you want to see what roleplaying looks like in an actual game, this is the podcast to listen to! Great characters, great people, great community. On episode 141 right now, and enjoying the sheer shenanigans of the gang- Lucky by name, alas not by nature. If Bruno survives another 50 episodes, I will amazed. LISTEN TO THIS PODCAST. It’s just too good- or should I say GPoPA?
This show is awesome! It is both fun and educational. It teaches me about salad, Tontines, and (to me) vague pop culture references. Also Webbie, it’s ok if you can’t phone home. Also question, if you put the flight amulet on a coach than fly in front of the moon with Webbie in a basket would you have to rename him Webb-ET.

A Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay actual-play series led by a GM who is known for a sharp, improvisational style and a rotating cast of players. Episodes center on tactical combat, heist-like sequences, and intricate world-building set in the Old World, with heavy emphasis on character banter, meta-commentary on rules and production, and a strong sense of community among long-running fans. The show stands out for its blend of grim, perilous stakes with lighthearted, often humorous moments, making complex tabletop systems approachable for newcomers while rewarding dedicated listeners with ongoing campaign threads and callbacks to prior chapters.
