  • A great listen!

I’ve only just discovered the podcast so went back to the beginning (not quite “In The Beginning”!) and it’s great to hear such knowledgeable and informed discussion. Just a shame it’s not weekly!

Babylon 5: 3x02 Convictions
Q: What are your initial thoughts on Convictions and its place in Season 3?
Matt believes the episode is a solid middle-ground entry that leans on two-for-one storytelling: it pairs procedural bomb-threat tension with deeper character work, especially around Londo and Jakar, even if the Earth-link thread feels underdeveloped.
Babylon 5: 3x20 And The Rock Cried Out No Hiding Place
Q: Ashley, before we take a deep dive into this episode, what are your brief thoughts as a whole, and if you can give me a score out of 10, please.
It's a fun, character-driven episode with strong dynamics and some standout mic-drop lines. Ashley gives it a solid nine.
Babylon 5: 3x14 Ship Of Tears
Q: PJ, what are your brief thoughts on this episode? And if you give me a score out of 10?
PJ expresses strong praise for the episode, highlighting the effective use of Bester, the emotional weight of the J'Kar and Delaine confrontation, and the balance of political and personal storytelling, ultimately giving it a 9.5 to 10 range with a preference toward the higher end for its emotional and narrative impact.
