When I first started listening to this podcast I felt quite sorry for both these guys! It was clear that they weren’t enjoying B5 and it was painful to hear. However, somewhere things started to click and to watch both of them come to understand, appreciate and love B5 has been a pleasure to behold. B5 is a completely different journey to any form of Star Trek and now the guys get that I can see how much they’re enjoying the ride. Excellent work!
As a first run viewer of B5, I am so happy I’ve stumbled upon these guys. Their enthusiasm for SF, Star Trek, and B5 is infectious. The best parts of the show are the predictions about the next episode based solely on the title. Their riffs on B5’s themes and how they tie it all into modern SF TV and movies is really entertaining and thought provoking. They’ve got me waiting each week for their takes. WoW, Z-14 days! more
I found your podcast whilst on commute to work at midway through 2nd session and just enjoyed it so much started over. Love your approach to it and the fun of your forward look as well as your approach to it. I love both B5 & Star Trek so thought the rule of 3 was great. more
