DJ CK-1 (I wonder if he missed out on an OC class?) and the saving grace of the show, AK-47 who makes wonderful interjections such as “I’m going to do some washing” in the middle of indulgent monologs from her partner in crime. I wonder how these two stay married, but the creative friction is contrasting and funny in an awkward kinda way. CK-1 is full of nerdy passion and detail for his music choices. Loved the Kate Bush episode. So pleased to hear praise for Ariel disc 2 ♥️
Beautiful music, keep it up! Highly recommend.
Very personable hosts -- their witty banter is the reason I love to listen! But they are also extremely knowledgeable about '80s music. The editing is superb, smoothly integrating song clips that underscore the reviews and discussion. I love the use of the period advertisements as well -- very funny stuff.
For anyone with even a casual interest in retro-pop music, this is an the entertaining listen. The hosts are very likeable. I appeciate how they incorporate song clips so I can actually hear a little of what they're talking about. I only wish they would put out new stuff more often, but I'd take quality over quantity. Thus, it's an essential "subscribe."
