Brian and Sarah are your hosts for this look back at albums from the New Wave and Classic Rock genres-- albums which have earned a permanent spot in their record collection. The hosts start the discussion with a history of the album, followed by their personal history with it. Over the course of two episodes, they do a track-by-track review of the album and the videos that accompany the singles. They conclude by each giving the album a final review and rating of zero to 100 record adapters. Join Brian and Sarah in this fun look back at the hits-- along with some misses-- of the 70s and 80s!

They mix published reviews of the songs they review with their own thoughts which adds an interesting dimension. Thanks for creating such a great podcast about the music I love, Wham!, Aha, Tears for Fears etc. You are both knowledgeable about your subject and are lovely to listen to. Only found this from an advert on 80sography podcast, wish I had found it sooner, lots to catch up on. Appreciate all your hard work, please keep it coming. Fantastic soon pleeese!!

I’m not so much in that synth section myself, although it was impossible to ignore back in the 80’s. Also, one of my favorite 80’s albums is completely synth, but it didn’t do anything in the US, even though it was released there. I will email you about it. more
