  • A joke

This podcast and this guy is a joke. B&B should can him and then that podcast would be top tier. The other two guys are pretty good, but this guy is flat out insufferable

  • Lucic

Was listening to the last episode and you wanted to know if Lucic had even played yet for STL. I live here so I can answer that, he got in one game so far v Columbus and had an assist but no fight and I found that a bit strange because Olivier dressed that night for the Jackets.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 459 "BKFC Ice Wars Fight Week w/Cole Johnson"
Q: What would your advice be to someone looking to get involved in Ice Wars?
Know you're going to get hit and be prepared for a battle; it's not a casual fight, and reach out through Ice Wars or fighters to start the process.
Episode 459 "BKFC Ice Wars Fight Week w/Cole Johnson"
Q: First question, if they came to you and said, hey man, we're kind of doing this cross promotion thing, we need some of you hockey players to go fight in BKFC. Would you take a bare knuckle fight?
Yes, I would consider it; I've heard of others in the scene and think a crossover could be interesting, though there would be adjustments to helmets and rules, and it would depend on the setup and preparation.
Episode 467 w/ Jordan Kennedy
Q: How did your Ice Wars journey begin?
Kennedy recounts his discovery of Ice Wars through AJ's outreach, his initial involvement through connections with other fighters, and how a late notice fight led him to join the Edmonton event, laying the groundwork for a long-running engagement with Ice Wars.
Episode 463 "87 Days"
Q: What is your favorite game worn jersey that you own?
I don't consider myself a huge game-worn-jersey guy, but I do value a Brett Gallant LaValle jersey he fought in, and I also treasure my brother's Melville Millionaires jersey and college jersey for sentimental reasons; in my view, those pieces capture personal fight history and family ties more than any one team's prestige.
Episode 475 BKFC Ice Wars "Fight Week" w/ Mike Arcamone and James Dalzell
Q: What are the biggest differences you've noticed between fighting on real ice versus synthetic ice, and how does that affect your preparation?
Real ice changes balance and footwork; training has to emphasize skating and stability, plus ballistics of punches change because you're not fighting with gloves; I'm adapting with rollerblading, on-ice practice, and balance work to be ready for the unique demands of ice wars.
