2025年5月，一幅明代画家仇英的作品《江南春》出现在北京顶级拍卖会上，估价8800万元人民币。
然而，该画作是1959年收藏家庞莱臣的后人捐赠给国家的，它本应在南京博物院被妥善保存。
之后，庞家后人向中国国家文物部门反映。
南京博物院给出的解释是：这幅画连同另外四件庞家捐赠珍品，被鉴定为赝品，按规定“处理”掉了。
除了庞家后人不认可这一解释外，众网民自然也是不相信南京博物院的说法。

他们把自己的处境摊开给这个世界看，而有的只是安静地做了一件难得的事。

在关注中国局势的简中新闻媒体里 算是最值得一看的几家之一了。很有意思的是该项目中很大一部分内容由国内被审查的稿件组成，比起“真相如何”，能够还原“被消失的声音”才是cdt最重要的功能。 我自己比起中国局势，更关心中文使用的自由。cdt从疫情前就一直在看，算是我本科毕设的启发者:)研究审查时面临的最大问题，往往是被审查的材料内容遗失。我不太了解cdt收录稿件的范围，但无论能够收录多少，对于未来的中国审查史研究者而言，这个数据库的价值都是巨大的。
