土の中から現れた、金色に輝く立方体。今回のテーマは、鉄と硫黄からできた鉱物「黄鉄鉱」です。子どもの頃に集めていた鉱物地図をきっかけに、実際に鉱山跡で結晶を探した体験から、古代文明で鏡として使われた歴史や、なぜ自然界でここまで美しい立方体が生まれるのかという結晶の仕組みまで深堀ります。
