在AI如此强大的今天，翻译是否会消失？需要承认的现实是，大量机械性和重复性的翻译工作，AI不仅可以胜任，甚至往往比人类更准确。但问题在于：翻译最关键的部分，恰恰不是这些“机械劳动”，而是剩下的一些需要判断、辨析与理解的工作。AI基于既有语料进行概率性复写，它不会理解术语的“概念史”，也无法真正辨认一个术语背后的思想脉络。这意味着，AI不仅不会终结翻译问题，反而可能放大并固化历史上的误译。
