I really love this podcast - Sarah is a fabulous host who keeps the topics interesting and the guests engaging. Really easy to listen to - clearly resonates with the audience.
Thank you
I enjoyed the show for quite awhile as a good adjunct to other shows like the Believe podcast. But as of late, Sarah’s just gone too into the metaphysical with so many tripper guests.
Callers reporting subjective feelings and thoughts about hypnosis, ley lines, and other such vague topics under the umbrella of Sarah’s expertise in paranormal subjects has nothing to do with Yowies! Anyone can ring up and make up anything and Sarah will turn it into episode. The standard really has slipped. There wasn’t much of a standard to begin with, but seriously this pod is not worth a cracker. And the theme song is agony.
Sarah’s passion and enthusiasm for the topic shine through in every episode. Her calming voice and genuine curiosity make for an engaging listening experience, and she goes above and beyond to help those who reach out with their own encounters (she did this for me). Yowie Central isn’t just a podcast, it’s a community, and Sarah is doing God's work.
Today is a sad day for me. Ive finished all the Yowie Central episodes.
Yowie central has been the (most) third eye opening listen, it’s been such a benefit to me and has really changed the way I think.
I went into the podcast pretty open minded, I had listened to a similar one, and now I’m leaving the podcast with things clarified, things debunked and things ready for me to start looking into and experiencing.
Sarah, I can’t thank you enough for such an amazing listen. I really appreciate ... more

A podcast focused on first-hand cryptid sightings, particularly Yowies, with wide-ranging conversations that also touch on other cryptids, paranormal experiences, and occult/spiritual dimensions. Hosts guide witnesses, researchers, and spiritual practitioners through detailed retellings, often emphasizing respectful reporting, corroboration, and community engagement. Notable by its mix of witness accounts, field research updates, and explorations of Indigenous knowledge and spirituality, which can appeal to listeners seeking open-minded exploration of the unseen and unexplained. A potential sponsor or guest seeker could expect a show that blends southern-Australian cryptid lore with broader paranormal and spiritual themes, delivered in a ca... more
