  • Has altered my preconception, after just one episode

Having listened to just one episode (episode 2), my opinion of actively participating in digital media (and in fact media in general) has already started to shift. As one who hasn’t historically seen the need to be in the public lime light, perhaps I should reconsider this and start looking at the benefits of having an active presence. Benefits for our business, for our broader industry, for the community, for my family and for myself

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

55. Georgie Dent, The Parenthood | Why DM our (now) PM?
Q: Why did you choose to send Albanese a Direct Message to sit down with parents?
Dent explains she trusted the potential impact of engaging directly with the opposition leader given her advocacy around universal early education and care, and the credibility built from years of consistent, publicly visible work in this space.
59. Melissa Agnes, Crisis Ready Institute | Conviction, connection + courage online
Q: What is the best way for listeners to reach out and continue this conversation with you?
She provides direct contact avenues: crisisreadyinstitute.com for programs and emagnes@crisisreadyinstitute.com for direct messages, plus LinkedIn and Instagram as pathways for dialogue and ongoing support.
59. Melissa Agnes, Crisis Ready Institute | Conviction, connection + courage online
Q: With all that, could you tell us a little bit about what you actually do?
Melissa describes her shift from traditional consulting to teaching crisis leadership at an embodied level, helping leaders step into their highest potential and align their digital and real-world communication with deeper purpose and conviction.
57. Mary Delahunty, CEO at ASFA | Videos, whiteboards + activewear: one executive's unique approach
Q: How do you manage the tension between representing ASFA and maintaining your own personal voice on LinkedIn?
ASFA's remit is the voice of super, so my LinkedIn activity is part of the organization. The brand shines through because the content is ultimately ASFA's know-how and research, not just Mary's personal post, and that helps keep the organizational purpose front and center.
57. Mary Delahunty, CEO at ASFA | Videos, whiteboards + activewear: one executive's unique approach
Q: What prompted you to start posting unscripted videos with a whiteboard on LinkedIn?
A misunderstood calculation in the public discourse around superannuation highlighted the value of explaining complex topics in a simple, visual way. Instead of formal slides, I chose to put the ideas on a whiteboard and share them directly to show transparency and approachability.
