As a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology who loves pop culture and enjoys reality television, I was very excited to find this podcast. While there are several red flags that have me questioning her ethics and her motives for perusing this career path, all I will say is that her constant reference to her degree followed by “so trust me” is the most concerning. Noting at the end of your podcast that they are your “opinions” and meant for “entertainment purposes only” after consistently referring ... more
Heard your take on Lindsay questioning Carl’s sobriety. It’s not that simple. Addiction takes a toll on everyone. I don’t know anything about Carl and Lindsay but I know my own experiences and cannot judge. My experience with addiction involves years of lies, pain, constant worry that your life is about to blow up. Once he went to rehab, took years of rebuilding the trust. That being said this reality TV. Totally entertaining but a bunch of people with questionable morals.
So informative and entertaining! I’ve been binging and I love all of the elevated bravo and culture discussions.
This is such an interesting perspective on all things Bravo. I’m really interested in hearing her assessment of various housewives. I’m just really enjoying listening to this podcast. Keep doing what you’re doing - because it’s great! I’m listening to your most recent podcast and I I just want to say “tune out the haters”. You offer such an interesting perspective and it’s so different from other podcasts. I may not always agree with your opinion 100% of the time, but I always enjoy hearing what... more
So needed during this new era of bravo! Especially around mental health and behind the scenes reality drama. It’s a healthy way to interpret bravo shows. Melissa is doing so in a loving, professional and authentic way. She’s humble and honest and speaks from a precessional perspective. I also respect her own fight for her life (an on going journey), which adds to her strength and strong convictions to her profession. She pours so much energy into her shows. She’s the real deal and the reason us ... more
