It's counterintuitive, I know, but delightful conversations are often fueled by the magic of silence interjected at strategic moments. I've got an example of this in today's episode. I'm pretty sure you're going to like this one. It involves a deligh... more
With Thanksgiving Day just around the corner here in the US, I've been thinking about how grateful I am for the encouraging people I see all around me. People who encourage me by their thoughtfulness towards me, and also towards others. I've got some... more
Beauty is more than scenery My wife and I recently returned from a vacation trip to Ireland. We saw the same things people typically see when they visit the Emerald Isle. The museums, the pubs, the walking tours led by local guides. And those sheep; ... more

John your podcast is encouraging. Relationships are necessary to improve and grow into the places we can't get to personally. It is just necessary to develop a greater depth of empathy in our interactions with each other. Your voice communicates that you trulty care. Thank you for your encouragement.
It’s true! It’s all about relationships. And isn’t this the most important aspect of anyone’s life? John’s perspective on relationships makes me stop and reflect on how I can improve my own. He has such a clear understanding, and a winsome way of sharing and identifying with his audience, that I always feel engaged with his topics, and later find ways to incorporate these concepts into my own personal conversations with others. Thank you, John. And please keep up the good work!
John has such an engaging way of presenting practical tips on building relationships. Sometimes we all need quick reminders of relational "best practices" to encourage us and help us understand how even difficult relationships can be improved. John consistently delivers that and more in his weekly podcast!
I have been meaning to write a review for sometime now. Today’s episode spurred me on. As I listened to The episode, “A Memorial Day to Remember,” the person I knew I needed to thank was John himself! If it weren’t for Jon, I would not have made it through college. He provided me with a job starting as a highschooler and gave me an opportunity to work every spring break, Christmas break, and summer vacation. My last year I remember him asking me if I had enough money saved to pay the semester’s... more
Once again John had me laughing and listening soberly to the truth he was sharing. I appreciate the transparency of this podcast, and am now wanting to forward the site to others I think would enjoy and benefit by the information. Who doesn't need a boost to love those around us better? Thank you!
