I actually liked the long musical tracks. It reminded me of what Stevie was actually doing at particular periods of his life and it was absolutely the best way of illuminate his development as an artist and visionary.

I was a huge fan of “Year of the Bowie” and “Year of the Joni”, which each had on average a 45 min. of content, most of which provided a great deal of insight into the musician as well as their creative output.
However, as a tremendous fan of Stevie Wonder and acknowledging his prodigious musical composition and about his life from a bird’s eye view, I’m finding this season a bit disappointing. First, there is only a half hour in each monthly segment. Secondly, each of these episodes about Won... more
