腹式呼吸不是真的用肚子呼吸，而是用橫膈膜收縮、肺下降的方式來練。腹式呼吸可以按摩內臟，鍜練腸胃功能和核心肌群，最重要的是能刺激交感與副交感神經，統稱自律神經。自律神經調整好了，緊張、焦慮、呼吸急促都可改善。

有些老人家只是走個路或站起來一下，髖關節就骨折了，不用跌倒也可能發生。髖關節是人體最大的關節，因為關節太大，骨頭很深，有些部位氣血循環不佳，尤其現代人工作都是久坐，很少站立；缺乏運動，很少蹲下，難得動到髖關節，所以髖關節很容易退化。
