雖然在年輕時看到「四它」時便有感悟，但楊逸秋並未因此進一步親近佛法，直到母親離世時，她才開始走上修佛之路。在生活中實踐「四它」，逸秋師姐覺得最難的是第一步的面對它，一旦願意面對，就能一步步的處理它、放下它，就能超越困境，不受困境左右，達到真正的自在，將禪的工夫運用在平常生活中。
