常有人問曾濟群與師父的緣分為何如此深，他卻說跟師父的因緣不怎麼樣!
曾濟群曾是中央圖書館的館長，他在聖嚴師父的“就是你”的招喚中，一次次的加深對聖嚴師父的了解，他毅然隨同師父一起投入社會教育，開啟了社會大學之路。他雖非為佛教徒，但卻從師父的著作「正信的佛教」中理解了佛教的正意，他的領悟與通透，讓師父放心把三長職務交給他，而他也交出了一張漂亮的成績單。

與法鼓山親近三十年，王錦源從迷茫到覺醒，師父的著作與法語都一直讓他有所遵循的方向。從學生時代，他參加學習營到現今的禪七到文理學院讀書，王錦源漸漸找到自己的價值與存在的意義。在生活中，他曾遇到霸凌、海外經濟困頓，更面臨照護父母晚年的辛苦，在工作上他南北漂泊抉擇，但因為師父的教法，讓他一次次地度過難關。

溫景發被派往日本工作時，遇到日本311大地震，他的同修獨自在家被這場大地震驚嚇到，她因此一年多都無法言語及有反應，溫景發到處尋求解方都無法讓她開口。因緣際會下他們來到法鼓山，同修竟然流下眼淚而且開口說話了“這是我要來的地方”，他們找回了自己，還找到未來的方向。
