旱神女魃又称旱魃，是古代中国神话传说中的女神，相传乃是僵尸的老祖宗。能给人带来巨大的旱灾，常有“旱魃一过，赤地千里”之说。据说这个女魃，是黄帝的女儿，住在系昆山的共工之台上，常穿一件青颜色的衣服，貌美。女魃身上储存着大量的热量。她来到战场上，狂风暴雨马上消失，紧接着便是烈日当头，比酷暑还要炎热，蚩尤的弟兄们刹那间惊惶诧异，不知所措，应龙趁机扑上前去，把蚩尤的士兵杀得鬼哭狼叫，四处逃跑。
