本集聊了台灣的塑膠工業、庶民生活、台語俚語，到民間智慧與衛生環境的變遷。也默默發現原來一支幾十塊的蒼蠅拍，背後居然藏著一整個台灣文化與歷史。

本週的《印花說故事》單元，從我自己創作的「紅椅凳」印花聊起。這在辦桌、廟口、小吃攤都能看見的生活物件，到底為什麼可以成為台灣庶民文化的代表？又歷久不衰的依然出現在生活裡的大小角落？
隨著台灣60～70年代塑膠工業的發展，塑膠製的紅椅凳逐漸取代傳統的木椅、竹椅。而其中設計的小細節，例如像是椅面的小孔、紋路、結構角度，也都藏著許多台灣人的生活智慧。
