「日語自遊行」與大家相處過一年後，終於到了暫別時。經過一年的學習，大家的學習成績怎麼樣？學習期間有遇到困難嗎？為了解大家的反應及意見，節目特別在尾聲前舉行了一次交流會，與聽眾交換學習日文的心得。 在交流會上，大家的表現十分出色，聽眾中有75歲的伯伯、有問佐佐木恭子校長及侯清儀老師可以如何自學日語、何時寫漢字何時用平假名、日文有懶音嗎、又為甚麼很少用「あなた」稱呼對方．．． 就一起分享交流的氣氛吧，及．．．後會有期！
日本人的謝師宴多由家長會統籌，除了享用食物，也有學生表演歌唱，最後給老師送上禮物。一般來說，小學和中學的謝師宴，都是全級各班一起舉行，規模較大。 日語漢字也有「餞別」二字，但日本人的具體做法跟中國人稍有不同。中國人習慣請離國（如留學、移民）的朋友吃一頓豐富的；日本人卻會送上現金，讓對方多一點「盤川」，是一份禮貼又實際的心思。對於搬遷的鄰居，可以送五千日元、朋友則送一萬日元。注意不要送「四萬」日元，因為四是不吉利的數字；要送，可送三萬或五萬日元。
日本人重視手信，每逢外遊，必定買手信回鄉送給親友，包裝精美的糖果、茶葉都是手信之選。從禮物的選擇以至包裝，日本人都花盡心思。如要隆重其事，產自關西的新鮮河豚，可算是名貴之選。 值得留意的是，西方人接受禮物，習慣即場拆開，以示欣賞對方的心意。日本人與中國人一樣，認為當著送禮者面前拆開禮物是失禮，收下禮物後說聲謝謝才是禮貌。
從前，日本人並不流行舉行生日會。直至70年代經濟起飛、社會開始富庶後，日本人才流行為小朋友舉行生日會。 說到生日，根據日本傳統，20歲那年的1月15日，各地都會舉行成人典禮，慶祝年輕男女長大成人。 日本人到了42歲稱為「初老」，從這時開始，才能稱生日為「壽」。77歲稱為「喜壽 」，88歲稱為「米壽」，99歲稱為「白壽」。每年9月15日，日本各地都舉行敬老活動，政府在報紙發佈「長壽者名單」，恭賀百歲以上的老人老當益壯。

This has been my go to Japanese podcast for over a decade. I enjoy how it covers vocabulary and phrases while still having time for the japanese guest to speak like a normal person. 99% of language materials always have the massive speakers speaking in some robotic way.
I also use it to improve and learn Cantonese, so it’s a double whammy.

Discovered this 15 years late, was looking for a podcast related to Japan and learning Japanese during COVID lockdown. The lessons are short but useful and there are cultural insights mixed in as well. Really enjoyable to listen to.
