2025年8月13日，中国湖南女登山者管静，在8月11日成功登顶著名的K2峰（乔戈里峰）后，在下撤途中遭遇落石击中头部，不幸去世。在一年前的2024年5月12日，管静曾从南坡成功登顶珠穆朗玛峰，并在世界之巅倒立20秒，被称为“在珠峰完成倒立第一人”。
