之前我们讲赫德的那一集，提到了第二次鸦片战争（1856—1860）。
差不多与此同时，发生了印度大兵变，或者叫印度大起义（1857—1858）。
也就是说，英国在亚洲同时在打两场殖民主义、帝国主义的战争。两场战争，看似互相孤立，其实是有一些联动的。
今天，陆大鹏和张向荣为大家介绍，两场几乎同时的战争中的两个失败者，一是大清两广总督叶名琛，二是莫卧儿帝国的末代皇帝巴哈杜尔·沙二世。
