I genuinely didn’t expect a history podcast to make me stop and rethink how I see people, but this one did.
The line that got me: “The suffragettes and anti-suffragettes shared the same goals, they just disagreed on the method.” I genuinely paused it.
It made me realise if you never take the time to understand where someone is really coming from, you’ll assume you disagree on everything. Which is almost never true.
