Our own Chaz Brenchley has a prolific year with 4 (5?) new books published. We gathered to talk about his first in a new series, “Of The Emperor’s Kindness”. It is written within a new genre I had to go delve into learning more about, a Fantasy of Ma... more
Never say it’s too late in your life to start writing! Steve Shlam joins us to talk about his first published novel, “The Harvesting of Haystacks Kane”. It was nominated for two prizes, and is a fascinating dive into the world of 1950’s-60’s wrestlin... more

The hosts have an easygoing interview style that very much feels like a few friends sitting down in a cafe discussing writing. Every writer will feel at home with this podcast.
I'm biased, but I still love it :-) I listen to every episode and they cover such a gamut of ideas that everybody finds something that makes them go "Ooh".
I am so happy I found this podcast. Each episode offers casual, intelligent conversation about writing and the writing life, with authors whom I admire as well as those whose work is worth exploring. This podcast should be on every writers playlist.
Super happy to have found this show via Twitter. Talking about writing is a really tought subject sometimes, in part because it can get boring. But the hosts for Writers Drinking Coffee really bring life to the subject with their fun banter, their passion for themes and ideas and writing-ness, and their shared writings. I'll definitely keep listening to this show as it progresses because I want to see where they go from here!
