  • congratulations, here's some stars

I probably should have given these guys a good review ages ago, given the good things they do and have done for the local Australian wrestling scene, but better late than never! If you're in Australia and like professional wrestling then you should probably already be subscribed to this.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

"Opportunity Just Knocks" Ben Braxton on PWA Coliseum, Riot City & His Rise in AusWrestling
Q: How much do you learn when working with veterans like Matt Basso and Mick Moretti?
I learn a ton; training builds the basics, but in-ring work with experienced guys exposes minute, crucial details that elevate a match, turning practice into real performance and helping me understand what the audience sees.
"Opportunity Just Knocks" Ben Braxton on PWA Coliseum, Riot City & His Rise in AusWrestling
Q: What are your ultimate goals, especially regarding chasing opportunities in the States?
The goal is to grow wrestling in Australia to a level where it's a sustainable pastime for many, while being open to opportunities abroad if the right door opens, but I can't uproot my family to chase it; timing and support matter.
"Opportunity Just Knocks" Ben Braxton on PWA Coliseum, Riot City & His Rise in AusWrestling
Q: How did it feel walking out to a crowd that didn't know you and was basically starting from scratch?
It felt like starting from almost nothing, but the crowd gradually connected with me as the match progressed, and the reception grew into warmth and cheers as the show went on.
"Opportunity Just Knocks" Ben Braxton on PWA Coliseum, Riot City & His Rise in AusWrestling
Q: How did it come about, first of all, you like spreading your wings to Adelaide to Riot City and Coliseum?
The move to Adelaide and Riot City happened through a sequence of conversations and a four-way at World Series that built momentum; it wasn't planned as a quick, linear move, but rather happened as opportunities presented themselves and I kept showing up.
"Crush Me on My Birthday" – Robbie Eagles Calls Out MJF
Q: Do you have a response to MJF's comment about Max fearing Aussies and the possibility of a match in Australia?
Robbie suggests he may not be widely known in AEW's audience yet, but believes a match on Australian soil could generate massive local interest and sees the opportunity to headline on home turf as a strong statement, especially around his birthday weekend. He hints at keeping some thoughts close for now while signaling that if MJF wants it, the match could become a reality at a high-profile Australian show.
