J.R. interviews Sherilyn Fenn--who discusses her view of how Audrey could have been in The Return, her view of how Audrey was in the The Return, her thoughts on the inimitable Clark Middleton (R.I.P.), and more!
The Wrapped in Podcast crew comes together to discuss Eraserhead, David Lynch's first film and possibly the Rosetta Stone for all his later work.
J.R. conducts brief field interviews with Ray Wise and Sheryl Lee.
On part two of Wrapped in Podcast's discussion of Mulholland Drive, the gang walks through 10 "clues" to the movie provided by David Lynch himself as part of the promotion of the DVD release of his landmark 2001 film. Topics discussed include J.R.'s ... more

Contrary to what the hosts seem to think, Episode 25 of “Wrapped in Podcast” is not actually about “The Greatest Showman”. Instead, J.R. Parker, T. Kyle King, and Ken Walczak discuss David Lynch’s first film as a professional director, “The Elephant ... more

Great TP podcast, up there with the Diane podcast, especially if you’re not a fan of the “Bill and Marty”-from-the-Simpson’s-style-podcasts. “You’re dead-weight, Marty”
Few sound issues on the early episodes, but I’m really enjoying hearing these guys talk about TP, after my rewatch.
Good stuff
Apparently I can't write two reviews so I'm having to erase my old review to write this but had to do it...
So would you guys be interested in doing a Leftovers podcast, Lindelof is on record saying Lynch/Twin Peaks is his biggest inspiration for The Leftovers, there are too many similarities to go into here but dream imaginary playing a huge part in the most important and unimportant ways at the same time is amazing
Anyways hope you guys will consider this...love seeing a new WIP cast pop up ... more
This was an amazingly entertaining and thorough walk through of season three. I was glad that they stretched out the last episode, and I’m double glad every time I see another episode peaking into another corner of Lynch’s ouvre (and my nightmares). The chemistry and repartee is always delightful. Great job!
I love this crew and their INCREDIBLY in depth analysis of Twin Peaks. I would listen to them talk about anything. Great freaking show.
So here is my other theory:
Judy is the bug that crawled inside Sarah Palmer and became her. Bob took possession of Leland when he married Sarah to be close to Judy after mike left him. The Fireman created Laura Palmer as a containment, as well as a wellspring of garmonbozia for Sarah/Judy through Leland/Bob over the years. The drink Leland makes Sarah every other night is garmonbozia from Laura's pain and suffering. Leland started developing a desire for Laura which is why he was having sex wi... more
Throughout Season 3, I splurged on the array of podcasts devoted to Twin Peaks' lore, episode review, and series discussion. Without a doubt, "Wrapped in Podcast" is my favorite and an absolute stand-out among its peers. Balanced with impressive intellect and humor, each episode is an expert production of thought-provoking, enlightening, and entertaining conversation. I walk-away weekly from their podcast a wiser Twin Peaks fan, ever-expanding my perspective in which to enjoy the show. Keep up t... more
Wrapped in Podcast quickly became as important to my week as watching The Return on Sunday nights. The only episode I watched late- was because I hadn't had time to listen to the previous episodes podcast discussion... It's that good.
Intelligence, insightful, wry, funny, always gives you something to think about, and likely a theory or two only heard here- often ones you disagree with. (Like every time I'm listening and driving through Yorba Linda!).
Only possible complaint is more of a sugg... more
These guys are better than the EW podcast (which I also enjoy). It's great to have four different personalities and perspectives, and the camaraderie of four people who seem to be good friends. It's full of great insights, and delightfully geeky. "Kyle's Conspiracy Corner", "Ken's Beverage Corner", and Jeff's academic analysis of the Woodsman's poem have all been highlights.
Drink full, and descend.
went the way of too many dad jokes.
Excellent and entertaining analysis of each episode.
I listen to several Peaks podcasts and came to this one only about halfway through The Return. Well, that was unfortunate because this is in my top 3 favorite Peaks podcast.
The guys are very intelligent, insightful and "get" the show. You can tell they are big fans of Lynch and other forms of high art but will call out areas that might not meet their expectations or standards. Yet they do not feel the need to attempt to tear the show apart to be contrarian, as several of the podcast on Tw... more
Perfect podcast for true blue twin peaks nerds!!!
Great stuff in this podcast - I like the different personalities and perspectives offered. One question I have is what's with the popping sound when one of the guys (Kyle?) speaks? It's almost like there's some kind of glitch with his equipment, seems like an easy fix. It's really distracting and the only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars.
This is one of the best TP podcasts out there. These guys are unbelievably fun to listen to, with offerings such as Ken's beverage corner and Kyle's conspiracy corner, and a diversity of viewpoints that somehow forms a cohesive show with JR's wry commentary. They are also super knowledgeable and like to go meta. Though their episodes get posted later than most other TP podcasts, it's well worth the wait.
This is my favorite overall Twin Peaks podcast on iTunes. Perfect balance of releasing a little later in the week, but providing the right amount of preparation and insight in return. Ken's Beverage Corner should spinoff & expand to cover all of television & film. I'll subribe to that for sure, and I'm willing to do "research" for the show if needed. Keep up the good work!
