Standing on Top of the World
Q: What are you most excited about looking forward to the PWHL and your professional hockey path?
I'm taking things day by day, watching the growth of the PWHL with enthusiasm, and I'm excited by the prospect of joining the league and inspiring the next generation of players to pursue hockey at the highest levels.
Standing on Top of the World
Q: Can you walk us through the viral assist against Minnesota State and what it meant for your visibility in the sport?
I just reacted in the moment, trusted my instincts, and tipped Bella through her legs with a one-hand pass that connected for a goal; the play highlighted creativity in women's hockey and showed that memorable moments can help grow the game.
Standing on Top of the World
Q: What was it like going back to the Olympics after a silver in 2022 and playing with so many stars on the roster?
It felt like a deepening of the experience; the team was more confident, the roles were clearer, and we fed off each other's energy to elevate our play, especially in tight moments like the gold medal game overtime.
Gloves Off
Q: How would you explain that first year of camp joining such a legendary team?
I almost had to practice how to say hi to Bobby Clark and other legends.
Gloves Off
Q: How old were you when you first realized you wanted to get on skates and maybe down the road be a hockey player?
I was screaming, holy hell, why don't I have skates? The next day, my mom got me skates.
