I don’t understand the defensiveness to keep this “producer” who is pretty much the cohost. It’s not that I don’t want different opinions I liked having the more right leaning cohosts. But this guy is no where near how intelligent Corinne is and for me takes away from the show. There are enough podcasts with this type of dude out there.
I really wanted to like this show because I am a fan of Corinne and GWF. I tried to add this show into my weekly rotation but I cannot stand Mike, he is insufferable. It is ironic that the whole theme of this show is critical thinking and Corinne can't even bother to hire staff who possess this skill. I wanted to subscribe to the patreon but the fact it goes towards paying him makes it a big nope for me. Thanks!
When asked for podcast recommendations, WAC is always my #1. Corinne has taken her expertise from many facets of her life, and created the best political podcast I’ve listened to. Corinne is doing valuable work. In a time where the tsunami of news feels overwhelming to keep up with, she presents the most important events each week in a calm, logical, and balanced way. Mike loves to play devil's advocate but his "takes" add minimal value to this show.
Corinne does not seem to realize leftists are not liberals and we do not want to be lumped in with the Democratic Party which is essentially “Diet Republican.” If you identify as a leftist you may as well listen to Chapo Trap House or Trillbilly Workers Party for better insight.
