This podcast gives an approachable and fascinating view into brain injury and mental health! As someone who has a minimal understanding of this subject matter, I love how Dr. Jess frames the topics she discusses and her interviews give relatable insights into how these issues are dealt with and studied. This is a difficult topic, and one that is not discussed enough. Dr. Jess opens up these discussions in a way that I am very appreciative of.
Extremely informative and accessible - very enjoyable.
This was extremely engaging and informative. A super balance between a simplified explanation of the medical and the emotional. Gives Hope indeed.
Excellent presentation, clearly articulated which definitely helps to better understand the complexities of brain injury.
I love this podcast. My mom had a spinal cord injury recent and even though it’s not a brain injury the experience for caregivers and when it comes to goals and hope is quite similar. It was really interesting to ground my experience in science. I really love the host too. Im always excited to hear new episodes.
