Great podcast, great delivery style. Content is 100% photography!
Josh is multi award winning wildlife photographer and this podcast is my absolute favourite in the genre . Josh engages in an easy conversational style and brings countless technical, artistic and sometimes moral /ethical insights. I always listen straight away - it’s that good!
I personally love the style of this podcast. Straight and to the point. Josh delivers the information like a pro and there’s little to no wasted time. If you’re familiar with his photography, then you know he speaks from experience.
Excellent information. Great to get honest tips from a subject matter expert. So many so called experts just want to push products. Thank you Joshua for sharing your thoughts and opinion.
Definitely enjoying this relatively new podcast offering from Joshua Holko. Lots of well thought out comments from this talented wildlife photographer.

Content centers on practical field photography, especially wildlife and landscape work, with a strong emphasis on field technique, gear, and workflow. Episodes routinely blend hands-on guidance (focusing techniques, gear setups, printing, color management) with personal travel anecdotes from remote regions, polar expeditions, and long field seasons. Notable traits include candid gear critiques, in-depth discussions of Canon systems and firmware wishes, and a consistent emphasis on thoughtful composition, mood, and ethical wildlife practices. Overall, it's a highly actionable show for serious nature photographers who want field-tested strategies, gear psychology, and inspiration drawn from global expeditions.
