A couple of intelligent and funny people talking about anime. What more could you ask for? Go listen to it. Its great.
I love this podcast, I enjoy listening to these two talking about anime. 10 out of 10, just 10/10.
As someone who has gotten more seriously into anime around the same time this podcast begun, I’ve found this very funny and engaging. Keep up the good work!
Side note: if you liked sailor moon R, you should watch something else by the same director (Kunihiko Ikuhara); he’s probably become my favourite director overall, let alone anime. I’d highly recommend Penguindrum from 2011.
Stay safe!
I look forward to this podcast every week. I find it enjoyable to listen to as John and Julie are discovering the facets of anime with me! I even went out of my way to watch some of the anime they reviewed! Definitely worth checking out!
This podcast is fun to listen, even if you haven’t seen any anime before and just want to learn about themes and tropes.
