I stumbled across this podcast quite late in its life (Feb 2023) and I have to say it’s excellent. Whilst in the earlier episodes there feels like a degree of repetition either for emphasis or to make the source material (inner circle member interviews) stretch as far as possible, the podcast really delivers. I have to agree with the Shallow reviewer. There were some good segments but for the most part it comes across as a bad episode of VH1’s Behind the Music. Especially the last episode which was more conspiracy / conjecture than fact.
I was really looking forward to this after having exhausted all other Prince related podcasts (which there are far too few of) but if you love Prince, this is not the place for you. Even if you’re a casual fan I’d steer clear as you might come away with a less than... more
