I love this podcast. I was 13 years old in rural Michigan in 1992, sneaking to watch MTV when my mom wasn’t around. This podcast has been a time machine back to those days. I’ve learned so much about the true stories of these songs and about the cultural landscape then. Please keep the episodes coming.
In 1992 I was a nonEnglish speaking 17 year old skipping class to stay home learning English by watching MTV. I was also passionate about any hints of political commentary in the local and international world, coming from a country that would soon see not only a coup-de-etat but major guerrilla related incidents. more
Loved listening to this and remembering all of the songs! How were they all in 92! Love the host and his commentary. more
Pretty good so far. But one thing they are WAY OFF on is that logo. No graphic design looked like that in 1992. That logo is pure 1986. Any pastel colors were put away long before the 90's!!
I love this podcast! I’ve been recently reflecting on how great 1992 was for music and was so excited to find this podcast. There are so many great episodes and highlights from that year. Looking forward to many more episodes on the wonderful music of 1992! PS: hoping there are episodes about Annie Lennox’s “Diva” and Shakespears Sister’s “Hormonally Yours” coming up!
