  • I’ve always adored you guys!

Y’all are so funny! And you work well together! You make movies fun when I wouldn’t otherwise care… on another note, the Phantom of theOpera is a true creeper 🥴

  • Too harsh. Lighten up.

Love the podcast and have been a long time listener but you guys need to lighten up and enjoy things for what they are. For example She Hulk wasn’t great but it had its moments. Your episode reviews were just as repetitive as the 4th wall breaks in the show.

  • I have to admit I was doubtful about this group, but they won me over! What a great podcast, insightful, funny, and brilliant in many respects…well, except for that JJ character; I think might have been dropped on his head (probably more than once!).

  • Like listening to a review from a friend

I’ve been listening to this podcast and watching their YouTube channel for about a year now. Consistently love their feedback, it is not as heavy as a traditional critic’s show and more in line with what a friend or family you trust would give you as far as movie feedback. Really insightful, and the guys are definitely not afraid of debating the merits of a particular film or actor in a very genuine manner yet always with an excellent sense of humor

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Sandlot (1993)
Q: What's your favorite scene, JJ?
Dude, it's the flashback scene in the freaking tree house, like the forever, like that whole black and white where it's like, that scene just makes me giggle.
The Matrix (1999)
Q: What did you guys think of it?
The hosts share enthusiastic and positive reflections, emphasizing the film's groundbreaking nature and memorable impact.
The Lighthouse (2019)
Q: What do you think about the dynamic between Dafoe and Pattinson?
Alec felt both actors performed phenomenally, but one should have been less known to avoid audience expectations.
The Lighthouse (2019)
Q: Why'd you pick this movie?
Mattson wanted to do something outside of his usual preferences, but he quickly realized why he typically stays in his comfort zone.
Happy Gilmore (1996)
Q: What is the funniest moment in this movie for you?
Probably the Bob Barker fight. That fight scene to me is like hilarious, 'The price is wrong, bitch', and then he's walking away, 'Now you're done, bitch'.
