  • Poor information

Listening to the shorter episode on weight loss medications. The doctor seems very uneducated on these, not even pronouncing the names correctly. Surely better to have someone with in depth understanding rather than this type of sound bite journalism.

  • So helpful and interesting

Such a great concept. Would Dr Nicola do a mini episode on testing your glycanage for listeners, reputable providers, how much it costs, what the process is like etc? Please keep making this podcast, I love it

  • Prue is on HRT & T

Usually a good podcast, but it seems disingenuous not to acknowledge that Prue has openly spoken about being on HRT and testosterone – this may have a significant bearing on her biological age. I’m not sure why this was left out??

  • Disappointing

Found it ok background listening for a while, some ok health advise in there.... but saying your 'happy skinny is back' to someone who just said they had a tricky relationship with food is just weird

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Tim Campbell: 5 Hours Sleep, 3 Bags of Crisps & Torso of The Week?!
Q: What role does AI play in your daily life and business, particularly regarding health and longevity?
AI serves as an AI chief of staff, helping manage emails, schedules, and information flow, and it informs decisions about health habits and nutrition, enabling me to act on data without becoming overwhelmed.
Tim Campbell: 5 Hours Sleep, 3 Bags of Crisps & Torso of The Week?!
Q: What was your initial reaction to the biological age result and what do you think it means for you right now?
I was surprised and excited; the result suggested I'm biologically younger than my chronological age, which I view as evidence that my current lifestyle and routines can be sustainable, but I also acknowledge the need to maintain balance to keep that momentum.
WEIGHTLOSS JABS: What does the science really say?
Q: Could you explain what we know so far about how these medications affect aging and whether they can help change my biological age in any way?
There is emerging evidence that GLP-1 agonists can reduce inflammation and improve insulin sensitivity and cardiovascular risk, all of which are linked to healthier aging. Some researchers are exploring microdosing for longevity benefits via anti-inflammatory pathways, but long-term data in healthy populations are not yet available, so changes to biological age remain plausible but unproven at this time.
ELECTROLYTES: Do I really need them?
Q: What should women over 50 look for in electrolyte products to support hydration and longevity
Look for products containing sodium, potassium, and magnesium, avoid those with very high sodium, added sugars, sweeteners, or colorants, and remember that a diet rich in whole foods often provides the electrolytes you need.
ELECTROLYTES: Do I really need them?
Q: How do electrolytes support muscles and the nervous system, and is there such a thing as too much
Electrolytes support muscle contraction and nerve signaling, with magnesium aiding muscle relaxation and sodium/potassium helping fluid balance; however, excess intake can disrupt fluid balance, so use them based on need rather than daily routine.
