Welcome back to Werewolf: The Podcast... sort of. This is a podcast episode done with the support of our great friends at Changeling: The Podcast and Mage: The Podcast.
I hope you enjoy.
Episode 4
Last Time on A World of Rage:
The Pack were on an Umbral Quest, following the trail of a great spirit through the forest. The group had to work their way across a ravine that the great spirit cleared in a single bound. Initially planning... more
Hello folks,
This episode is not about Werewolf, sorry for that. BUT! It is about another great RPG I think you should check out.

Alright, in this episode we talk about sharks. Trigger warnings, sexual assault, blood, nudity for no reason. Just *sigh*

If you read these show notes, tell me someplace, because I put no work into them now lol
Hey folks,
Today's episode is a strange one. We are talking about scientific theory called Affect Theory, and how it may apply to Werewolves. We discuss the theory, we discuss how to use it in games, we discuss Garou identity and culture and we spin... more
Welcome back! We have a special episode today that is an interview with the folks at Flyos Games and their awesome board game that is out right now, on Kickstarter.

Great Stuff
Uhhg what overly woke bigots!
OF COURSE Pentex always approves abortion for their employees!
And the constant harping on authors from 20-30 years ago for not meeting current social mores? So silly.
And in the Wild West Companion?
SO funny to hear you talk about the pseudo-Christian garou! “They need to be educated” “wayward people” “need to be brought back into the fold or contained” “wyrm tainted or almost” What a bunch of cultural imperialists. You would have them re-educated away from their c... more
Focuses on the wrong things. Informative sure, but dry and kinda boring. Besides, the cheap shots at the other werewolf podcast is off putting and kinda lame
Great podcast. I'm really into Forsaken over Apocalypse but I like hearing about the books and the lore of old world of darkness stuff.
SO funny to hear you talk about the pseudo-Christian garou! “They need to be educated” “wayward people” “need to be brought back into the fold or contained” “wyrm tainted or almost” What a bunch of cultural imperialists. You would have them re-educated away from their culture? What garbage secularist bias. Carlisle Indian School anyone? You sound just like the worst of the 19th century “white mans burden” imperialists. Yeesh. Who are you to say what is and isn’t acceptable religion?
A gaming buddy asked if I’d heard your review of Kinfolk. I downloaded and listened—thanks so much for the wonderful comments! I’m glad you enjoyed reading and using the book as much as I did writing it. For your fun fodder, I wrote “Kagemusha” in one 3-hour sitting; the characters leaped from my brain to the page. I’m most proud of this book and my section of Book of the Weaver. Keep up the great work on your podcast. :) Dee McKinney
Keep it up!
Happy with how this podcast had progressed. In the beginning I wasn’t a huge fan due to some of the production and an extremely long intro. Through time it has improved greatly and has turned me on to a number of the books!
Josh's knowledge of what a person needs to successfuly run a Werewolf the Apocalypse
is solid. He clearly lays out the best books to purchase and why you should be using them. He guides are simple and short without being pretentious. Excellent work. I subscribed right away.
You cannot do better than WtP for lore and reliable information/inspiration. I run a game with my friends at home and this podcast makes me sound like a Werewolf expert!
The presentation is quality and easy to listen to, episodes are long enough to dig deep without droning on forever, and the reviews have helped me to build my rulebook library without wasting money on duds.
I really cannot say enough good things about this show. Give a listen, you won’t regret it.
I like that the episodes are short but thorough examinations of each book. The podcaster alternates between being player-centered and storyteller-centered, rather that getting bogged down in a meta-narrative, you get a good idea for a chapter-by-chapter approach to werewolf. Because it’s story-focussed, the podcast gives good ideas for werewolf storytelling that can extrapolate from the confines of any particular rule set. I’m enjoying it.
This podcast is not a patch on Vampire: The Masquerade - A Retrospective Podcast
The narrator is awful, and really needs to grow up and realise when these books were written.
Full disclosure: I have never played any of the werewolf games.
The episode Black Furies Tribe details an entirely new clan of werewolves to use in your game. The host delves very deeply into not only the material presented in the book, but also how they fit in the larger world. This guy really knows his stuff!
The only thing which bothered me a bit was the unexpected feminist angle the show took. I’m just not really into gender politics, and this episode has a lot of that. It’s not bad, but ... more
Decided to try this podcast out and sampled the Black Furies tribebook episode. It was a lot of fun. I found the length wonderful. I was able to listen to it while getting ready for my morning.I will say the beginning kind of confused me, there was a long intro of announcements and advertisments before getting to the content. I think though that if i were more familiar with the podcast this wouldnt have surprised me as much! All in all though great content and the podcast really respected the p... more
Then you need to check this podcast out. Not only does Josh, the host, know his stuff about Werewolf, he also works for both Onyx Path publishing and White Wolf. He constantly shows his knowledge but also presents the material in an easy to understand way. Definitely check this out!
