I love this podcast, it both keeps me updated on the current world events and is fun to listen to. However it is slightly frustrating how narrow Jen’s worldview is. Take the intimacy crisis conversation, in said conversation Jen tells her podmates how she feels that her and all around her have plenty of friends and even if they are single having friends will make up for that. Afterward Andrew talks about how he is “miserable” because he doesn’t have a long term relationship. Completely disprovin... more
Jen and Andrew can offer some good insight at times, but do they keep Justin on there to make themselves look smarter?
In the Iran war episode, Justin went on some mini-rambling about it. Not having any of the facts of our invasion, he set off on the dumbest journey of incompetent babble that would put him in line for a position in SimpleDon’s cabinet, should he want it.
He’s taxing to listen to, and a reason I end the show prematurely 90% of the time.
Constantly contest that they are non-partisan, but Jen is clearly the token liberal to support that assertion. She's an obvious heel. She deserves better than these clowns and their Dunning Kruger case study audience.
Jen does more quality research than the other two combined, they’re just charismatic to hide their ignorance, and if you read the reviews, you’ll see with works with a lot of smooth brains.
Agree w/ many of the reviewers that Jen’s inability to take criticism, have a coherent argument based on facts and/or listen to others’ opinions is frustrating at times. Despite all of this, she’s also clearly a very intelligent, hardworking, and empathetic person so I still love WNR.
Listening to Jen try to talk about the stock market makes me distruclst her analysis on anything else. Also, the way she phrases things like “we allow billionaires” to spend their own money shows a very disqualifying prior.
